Post 9/11...Toward Unity What will it take for a global awakening from the dream of separateness and hating factions into the reality of Unity as One Consciousness expressing as Universal Family?
For openers, all hate groups (meaning each individual in each group) must get over it or perish. This includes pseudo- Moslems engaged in terror and pseudo- patriots "hating" the terrorists and war-monger revenge.
Granted that terrorism must cease before global awakening can spread freely (without the fear factor), the "war against terrorism" must cease a.s.a.p. and never tolerate civilian causalities as "acceptable collateral damage in wartime." In other words hate itself must perish, even (especially) as an ingredient in bringing terrorists to justice, which, inevitably, must be done.
All factions of hatred, given the present context of global consciousness, are the inevitable result of egocentric (and, in groups, ethnocentric} belief in separateness from The Unity of Consciousness ItSelf. When we believe our individuality or group identity is primary, we fight. When we awaken in Oneness as One Family we stop fighting, feed and nourish our brothers and sisters in all ways and learn to Love from Being One Consciousness manifesting as all these forms.
No answer short of this global (universal) awakening is enough, and each individual is responsible for his or her intent or willingness to give up the hatred and surrender into UNITY ...not another belief system pitting "us" against "them" but actually letting the divisive "programming" go.!Naturally, justice must precede the coming Age of Peace (and "I" have seen our potential for a global peace...first hand... as a vision, not just a hope!)
For "our part" as "Americans" or as world citizens targeted by terrorists, we must not only come together and mobilize for justice (a true world court trial of all apprehended terrorists), but "change our ways" where we are indulging an opulent over consumption as we exploit, deplete, and pollute our Mother Earth and enslave and bully our fellow man as an international conspiracy of greed and power.
No wonder we are targets of fundamentally insane religious fanatics who see "our" dark side (which we want to ignore) as clearly as we see theirs . This does not excuse the heinous crime against humanity on 9/11. But only when "we" can see and begin to change our dark side and "they" theirs can we progress toward global awakening , true gnosis in conscious unity.
The universal archetype (found in all cultures and religions) of a global battle between "good and evil" is upon us, and each illusory "me" or "we" must now confront the supposed "enemy". This is the beginning of a great transition from duality into conscious unity on all levels. We will all eventually transcend the melodrama of "good vs. evil" and "us vs. them" as we each enter the ultimate individual awakening from "me vs not me" into "I Am / We Are One Omnipresent Consciousness.
So now all this hating has come to bear its bitter fruit, and the dark side of all factions is being exposed to not only the light of world opinion but illuminated for what it is by Consciousness ItSelf in each of us... and it is hatred that must be cleansed before the "seeds of enlightenment" can be sewn... by each of us deep within our souls where we join as One.
This is The Great Cleansing and it is an "inside job" within each of us as well as a global (and truly universal) evolution of consciousness from egocentricity (culturally, ethnocentricity) to true selflessness as individual and cultural expressions of The One beyond naming . When each of us meet the real "enemy" it is always found to be the illusion of separate "self." (i.e., "Pogo's" legacy, "We have met the enemy and he is us!") Of course all those who are hateful must find their particular catharsis and be done with it whether it is a literal battle where "enemies" kill each other or the inner battle of "self" transformation and awakening.
Each "pod will pop" when it is ripe and ready, whether an individual or group belief in "us vs. them".
We are all "us", though some don't know it yet, and are not likely to get it until justice is done for ALL SIDES, and the healing process can begin.
Again, the group identity called "we Americans" or "we targets of terror" in all countries must see their dark side as their "enemies" do and begin to transform the greed/ power beast of exploitation into the enlightened citizenry of our global Family.
This is for each of us to do on our own until it "ripples out" to transform our world.
