This "page" picks up where "Time, Space, and the Infinite " left off. (For those reading a print-out, see web site www.consciousunity.org.) The lesson was that , beyond fiction and "fantasy physics" ( and "i" play with the same models, but they are only models!) ... time is only a concept...  event- specific duration measurement;  and space... true space... is emptiness.

Now, if we are "all on the same page" here ( if not, write me through  the "dialogue"  link ) ...
The next big question after "What is time and space?" would be, Who am I  in relation to time and space... and matter?"
"Am I the effect ("epiphenomenon") of  matter in motion through space or Creator of the whole 'Thing'?"
(Hint: It's not "either/ or".)
This whole web site, and the mystics of all traditions testify to the gnosis that the "I Am" in each of us IS "The Creator."
Consciousness ItSelf  is "The Creator", and manifestation ("the creation") IS "crystallized" consciousness, or this cosmic Intelligence manifesting as all forms/ individuals. Our "program" or belief that we are an identity separate from That Oneness creates an imaginary veil or membrane between "me" and "not me". The Awakening  from this imaginary separation restores the experience of unity in omnipresence, which is the Truth all along.

This is the metaphysical truth:  that Consciousness creates matter and all energy fields all the time. The prevailing world view of materialism and  the physical sciences believes the opposite: that interacting matter creates the experience of "I am" which we call consciousness.
However, "recent" developments in quantum physics have been breaking down this illusory barrier, parting the "veil" between these  ages- old adversaries in philosophical "battle." A deep study of these developments is way beyond the present scope, but the essence of the breakthrough (and the inspiration for this page)  is this:
The act of observation effects whatever is observed! The basic scientific myth of "objectivity" has been exploded! The experimenter always effects the experiment... and usually finds exactly what s/he is looking for!

Hard-core atomic physicists are not about to acknowledge that consciousness itself creates everything. But they are looking in that mirror every time they watch two "quanta" of energy doing a perfectly synchronized "dance"  "together" but extremely far apart without any apparent means of communication. Omnipresent Consciousness is the "answer", but they are not asking that question! They can only "scratch their heads" and wonder in awe until  "consciousness- as- the- Creative- Agent" is "discovered."
Science is at the very threshold of this "discovery." It will, of course, find its own dignified scientific language for it. "The Journal of Consciousness Studies" is one "serious" scientific journal searching diligently  for such a language of "secular" understanding. And there are a variety of books, like The Tao of Physics working to fill that gap.

The inspiration for the title "Quantum Metaphysics" is that, upon awakening, gnosis, enlightenment, or "whatever", the reality of One Omnipresent Consciousness is directly experienced, and "separate identity" is seen through as a figment of our individual relativity!  We are each an individual "quantum" of energy, living an individual "life story" until we somehow,...  by some "grace" or "wreckage" of our "individual identity", or a combination of both...  experience the ultimate "quantum leap" from our fictional "separate identity" into Conscious Unity.

This transcendence of duality was the inspiration for this web site title and for the Center for Conscious Unity, "my" meditation space in Pleasant Hill, OR...
